Welcome to Camden's Blog

Camden turned 1 month old on October 18th. He is stable and growing, and the doctors are waiting for him to grow some more before determining what surgery he will need next (if any.) He was born on September 18th, 7 weeks early, when it was decided that the dilation in his bowel was causing a back-up and needed to be addressed.

This photo of Camden and his big sister Madison (age 2 - isn't she adorable?!) and it really illustrates her concern and tenderness toward her little brother.

Now that this is here, Camden's parents and others will add more information about Camden, his medical history and status, and life with SBS.

Everyone here at Public Safety (Andy's Job)wishes the family well and we are all encouraged by the progress Camden has made thus far. We'll all be praying for the Brown family and hope everyone will continue to support them in this time of need. Remember the positive things. When you think or ask why? Remember this is a wonderful gift from God. You have a hurdle to overcome. See it through. Best wishes and give our little guy a Hug.

As Ellie's Gramma, I know that you must be somewhat apprehensive about Camden's move to Children's. Ellie spent 8 months there last year and we will never be able to express our thanks to everyone at that most wonderful place.
Will be thinking of you and hope that we meet you while you are in Boston.

We're glad to hear that Camden is doing much better than he was a couple weeks ago. Thanks for keeping everyone in the loop, and this will make it much easier being way down in VA. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys and Camden.
We'll see you in a couple weeks, and we are going to make a point to go to Childrens while we're in Boston for Thanksgiving.

Jana you are an awesome aunt for setting this up! I will check it often. Our family will be saying many wishes and prayers. Medically things have come so far...my nephew was born at 1 lb 11 oz and is now a healthy and happy teenage boy! It is amazing how fast little ones heal. Please let me know if there is anything specific we could do to help out! Sooo happy to hear that Nana & Grampy will be there too.

*Hugs & Love*
