Slow and Steady....

Camden's progress has been just that. We are slowly increasing his continuous feeds, in fact he has tolerated 14ml/hr for a few days now. He even is doing very well with the 14ml by bottle once a day too. We may increase both of them tomorrow! he is also doing well cycling off his TPN for two hours each evening. His blood sugars were high enough that we don't have to check them any more. We also made the 4 kg club, 4.09kg today. He is definitely smiling now, and he has the cutest dimples!! We are amazed at how far he has come, but still a little scared of what lies ahead, and how we will manage. I guess we will though, thanks to our great family and friends for support and love and prayers!! Thanks!! We are just waiting for the team meeting next Wednesday to discuss discharge plans. Keep you posted.

Good Morning from Arizona!
It is so good to hear the progress even since we left you on Tuesday this week. We can't wait to see him again (and of course you all). The only bad thing about you getting to go home to Maine is it won't be as easy to see you - but I'm sure we'll get up there again before you pack up.
Thanks for the updates!
Love to all,
Aunties Nancy & Flo

It is another snowy day in Maine and Terry is out playing "Plow Boy"! The boys are all home for a visit from their respective schools...hectic, but very nice.
So glad to hear that Camden is progressing. We think of you all often and keep you in our prayers.
Happy Holidays!
Terry, Cindy and the rest of the Grindle gang

Progress is just that...progress!! Take it from experience.....you will be able to handle anything that comes your way. You may be blindsided from time to time, and some days will be minute to minute, but the joy and life that will be lived is worth every second. And the strength, hope, and love of devoted parents, siblings, and family goes beyond all that you can imagine. And you are all so loved!!

Good morning from snowy Maine. I'm looking at Cameron's picture on the corner of my desk and thought I'd wish you all a Happy New Year!!! Congratulations on the upcoming team meeting. Here's hoping that the news is good & you can begin to see a larger light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your chins up & we look forward to meeting the little guy.

Andy & Tonya -
We here in Bangor are behind you 100%. I am not sure if you have heard, but our hockey team and the UMO women's team will be playing in a benefit game to help you out. We` are still working on dates and stuff, but we are proud to do it for you guys. We were also impressed that the UMO ladies are willing to help out too. I will keep you in the loop.
If you don't know about our team, check us out at www.thirdwatchhockey.com.

Stay safe my friends,
